The Challenge
SMG have an international client operating in 13 countries, each requiring it’s own weekly report. Due to independent budgets, each country only received a report regarding their specific data and utilising a complex internal cost allocation formula. Compiling these reports from multiple data sources was a huge drain on resources with 7 staff each spending 5 hours a week on the task. SMG challenged us to create a web based visual report with the ability to restrict access levels and incorporate the internal cost allocation formula.
THE SOLUTION
We created a completely bespoke ecosystem for SMG and their client; allowing multiple user types to be created with varying access, target upload feature and options to set exchange rates. Our automated, visual report incorporated the complex internal formula and updated every morning - delivering insight at a frequency that SMG could not offer manually.
THE OUTCOME
Following implementation, resource required for the report process was reduced from 5 staff to 1 and the remaining member of staff responsible spent just 1 hour a week adding their insight to the report - a total of 34 man hours saved per week. Improved client access to data also significantly reduced ad-hoc requests and allowed SMG staff to focus on optimising campaigns

The Challenge
We were asked to overhaul the reporting process for 3 Affiliate Window account managers who spent 15 hours every monday creating static excel reports for an e-commerce retailer with 15 brands.
THE SOLUTION
We created a fully bespoke web based reporting platform which updates every 24 hours automatically; delivering insight on demand. Our unique approach maximised understanding and incorporated custom metrics previously unobtainable.
THE OUTCOME
Time spent compiling reports reduced to nothing allowing the account managers to take meaningful action based on the heightened level of insight.
